Overview

Michael is a nationally accredited mediator under the Australian Mediation and Dispute Resolution Accreditation System implemented by the Mediation Standards Board of Australia.

He has practiced continuously as a barrister since 1989,  primarily in civil litigation,  particularly with expertise in all aspects of personal injury law including common law and/or statutory negligence claims and professional negligence/liability.

Michael also has extensive experience and expertise in most aspects of employment law, including industrial, contract, and restraint of trade law.

Michael also has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution including as a court and tribunal arbitrator. He is accredited by the New South Wales Bar Association as an expert determiner.

 Michael is also an Acting Deputy President of the Personal Injury Commission of NSW.
